French electronic music duo Justice has released a new track titled ‘Incognito’ that features on their upcoming, hotly anticipated fourth album, ‘Hyperdrama’. The album will be released through Ed Banger Records/Because Music on April 26. The new track is the third single from the upcoming album, with Tame Impala collaboration ‘One Night/All Night’ and ‘Generator’ being the first two singles.
The song is a synth-heavy dance number that opens with rolling prog-rock-esque drums alongside chopped choric vocals. The group’s press release described how it switches from all electronic to human music abruptly, multiple times within its four-minute run. The structure of the track shifts according to what feels good at the moment, without necessarily following any other rule.
According to rumors, one of the tracks will likely include a collaboration with The Weeknd. The band continues to perform live despite facing historic animosity towards electronic music outside of the Paris dance scene. Justice – made up of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay – are set to headline London-based Field Day festival later this summer, marking their first live show in the UK in six years.
Fans excited to catch them live can now tease out the new track ‘Incognito’ on their streaming services. The duo continues to garner huge critical acclaim for their music, with their last album ‘Woman Worldwide’ earning them a Grammy nomination
