Musician Josh Homme has announced that he will perform a one-night-only benefit gig, ‘Josh Homme & Friends’, with Dave Grohl, Matt Helders, Beck and more. The show will take place on March 20 in Los Angeles, California, and will raise funds for the Sweet Stuff Foundation, which provides assistance to career musicians and engineering professionals who are struggling with disability or illness. Other acts set to perform at the event include The Kills, Jesse Hughes, Bill Burr, Chad Smith, St. Vincent, Justin Willman, and Sarah Silverman.

Homme spoke about his friendship with Dave Grohl, calling it one of the “longest romances” he has had that has worked. In addition to this upcoming benefit gig, Homme has previously performed at ‘Music Saves Lives’, a benefit gig for suicide prevention, where he shared the stage with Brett Scallions, Kevin Martin, Billy Morrison, Orianthi, and more. Homme’s band, Queens of the Stone Age, are also set to embark on a US tour with Royal Blood in the spring of 2024, with stops in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.

The Sweet Stuff Foundation was founded in 2013 to provide aid to musicians and engineers in need of assistance due to illness or disability.
