After the tragic killing of a mother and daughter outside of his St Louis concert last month, Drake took a moment during his show in Buffalo to address the audience about the importance of embracing life and sharing love while we still can. Laticha Bracero died at the scene while Alyssa Cordova passed away in hospital after the speeding car crashed into them, running a red light outside of Drake’s performance.

“I want you to turn to somebody that you do not know, I want you to look them in the eyes and I want you to prove that you’re grateful for your life. I want you to take five seconds out of your day to make somebody else’s day. Just show them some love because you never know what comes next,” the rapper told the crowd.

He emphasized that we have a choice every day to be either a kind person or a negative one and commended the fans for their kindness, reminding them that the victims are deeply missed.

The man responsible for the accident, Monte Henderson, faces two counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of armed criminal action. He is currently out on bond but is under house arrest with a GPS ankle monitor, according to Uproxx.

In other news related to the rapper, Drake recently voiced his opinion publicly about Tory Lanez’s case, in which he was convicted of three felonies related to the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez received a 10-year sentence in August of last year with a possibility of reduction due to time spent in prison and under house arrest.
