The Flavortown Music Festival, which was supposed to be hosted by Guy Fieri, was recently cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The festival was set to take place in Columbus, Ohio for two days, on June 1st and June 2nd, and was meant to revolve around music and food. This event was first announced back in November of 2021.
Back in January, Fieri announced that Greta Van Fleet and Kane Brown would be headlining at the festival. Other acts were also going to be announced in the upcoming months. There was a mix of rock and country artists that were all set to perform at the event, including Bret Michaels, Poison, Niko Moon, and LOCASH.
Recently, a spokesperson for Guy Fieri made a statement to NBC4 News, stating that the Flavortown Fest has been officially cancelled. The reason for cancellation was due to unforeseen circumstances. However, the spokesperson also conveyed that everyone who had initially purchased passes would be refunded in full.
Guy Fieri has historically shown an interest in the music industry. He recently followed Rage Against the Machine on their North American reunion tour, and he was spotted headbanging in the front row of a Slipknot show back in 2019.
Due to the unfortunate cancellation of the festival, disappointed fans who were eagerly anticipating the event will have to look elsewhere for entertainment
