Superclásico Vol. 1, a new global-focused compilation series, is set to be released on Local Action’s sibling label on February 29th. The 16-track compilation features contributions from artists across North America, the UK and Australia, including Miami’s Conffintexts, Brooklyn’s WTCHCRFT, London-based producer Nite Fleit and more.
Curated and operated by London-based DJ and producer, ELEANOR, Clasico was launched in 2023. The new series is set to feature a “family tree” of label affiliates and the “cutting-edge of global club music.” The label posted to Instagram to share news of the compilation, prompting featured artist Martyn Bootyspoon to comment: “I can only say ‘SuperClásico’ as if I am wearing my Versace shirt sleazily unbuttoned after a martini.”
This compilation showcases Clasico’s commitment to introducing the world to fresh talent and cutting-edge sounds that break boundaries and bring people together on dance floors worldwide. This unique blend of artists will excite listeners and bring about a new wave of music in the clubs.
