Chung Ha is set to make her return to music in March after a year-long hiatus. Her label, More Vision, confirmed the news to Korea JoongAng Daily on February 27. This will be her first release since her 2022 studio album “Bare & Rare”, which included the single “Sparkling”. The K-pop singer had also recently released the official logo for her YouTube channel. Chung Ha had left her long-time agency MNH Entertainment in March 2023, after seven years with the company.

In an earlier interview this month, Chung Ha opened up about becoming an independent artist and leaving MNH Entertainment. She said that she “didn’t know what to do when [she] was alone”. Chung Ha also previously revealed that she would have left the entertainment industry to study overseas if not for the intervention of her now-label boss Jay Park. In 2023, Chung Ha signed with More Vision, a label founded by Park.

In January 2024, Jessi, a Korean-American singer, ended her contract with More Vision after just nine months. The label described it as a “mutual” decision and said it would continue to support Jessi’s endeavors.
