Nintendo has revealed that a Partner Showcase will be taking place, displaying a number of third-party titles for the Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2024. The Direct will premiere on February 21, commencing at 2pm GMT/6am PT/9am ET and last roughly 25 minutes. Gamers can tune in live on Nintendo’s website or their official Youtube channel. Users can also skip to the end if they wish as the showcase is available on demand.

What games will be appearing in the showcase has not yet been revealed, but updates on previously announced titles like Contra: Operation Galuga and Penny’s Big Breakaway are still forthcoming. Ubisoft also confirmed there would be “more news” on Beyond Good & Evil 20th anniversary edition at the start of this year, following an accidental reveal of the game in November 2023. Hollow Knight: Silksong might also be making an appearance after being delayed from its original date. Fans might get their first look at the rumored Switch version of Hi-Fi Rush, which was previously exclusive to Xbox and PC.

Previously this month, Microsoft confirmed it was experimenting to bring a handful of games to “rival” consoles, including Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Pentiment, and others. Xbox boss Phil Spencer stated, “I’m going to learn about our partnership with other platforms. I’m going to learn about what happens with our players. I think it will benefit the games that we’re putting there, but if the net result is that other things are punitive to the Xbox platform and try to limit our growth, then we’ll have to think more carefully about how we support those other platforms.” No exact date has been released for when these games will be available, nor which consoles will be targeted.

In addition, fans will enjoy a Pokemon Direct on February 27 as the company promises “exciting news.
