Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium are teasing something together

Metal bands Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium have teased a potential collaboration through similar Instagram posts shared simultaneously on their respective accounts. Fans are speculating that the two bands may be planning some sort of anniversary celebration, as next year marks the 20th anniversary of both bands’ classic albums: Trivium’s ‘Ascendancy’ and Bullet For My Valentine’s ‘The Poison’. Trivium’s frontman Matt Heafy has previously discussed the upcoming milestone, hinting at a potential announcement for the anniversary. Similarly, Bullet For My Valentine’s singer Matt Tuck hinted at a tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘The Poison’.

If the two bands were to announce something like a co-headline tour, it would mark their first appearance together since last November. Matt Heafy joined Bullet For My Valentine on stage to perform ‘Tears Don’t Fall’, originally from ‘The Poison’. Fans have been highly anticipating this collaboration ever since the announcement of the 20th anniversary of both albums. Bullet For My Valentine’s guitarist Michael Paget has hinted at the possibility of writing an album in 2024 and then marking the anniversary of something big in 2025.

In other Trivium news, the band stated that they have no current plans to work on new music and were ready to take a hiatus after their 2023 tour. However, Matt Heafy confirmed that instead of working on new music, they’d be building their Hangar studio in Orlando, Florida for future recording sessions. Bullet For My Valentine has been staying busy with headline dates throughout the UK and Europe, alongside festival dates and a North American tour with Lamb Of God. Fans will just have to wait and see what announcements come from the two bands and if they decide on a collaboration
