The American ska punk band Sublime has indicated that it may create new music after resuming operations in 2021. Sublime with Rome announced their split in 2021, with the news that Sublime would reunite to perform at Coachella 2024, fronted by Nowell’s son Jakob. Nowell also suggested bringing Gwen Stefani up to perform her 1994 duet with Sublime, “Saw Red.” Gaugh showed enthusiasm for the idea, especially since No Doubt is due to have its own reunion show at Coachella. Coachella 2024 will occur from April 12-14 and again on April 19-21, with pre-sale tickets released on January 19 at 11 AM PT. In 2022, Sublime announced a new biopic was entering production at Sony, with the involvement of the band’s surviving members, bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, as executive producers
