The 2024 Bafta Film Awards is just around the corner, with stars and the film industry preparing to celebrate the best of the big screen over the past year. Leading with the most nominations is Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, followed by Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon and The Zone of Interest.

Ahead of the prestigious ceremony taking place in London’s Southbank Centre on Sunday, the full shortlist has been announced. Films up for Best Film include Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Oppenheimer and Poor Things.

This year’s nominees for Outstanding British Film are All of Us Strangers, How To Have Sex, Napoleon, The Old Oak, Poor Things, Rye Lane, Saltburn, Scrapper, Wonka and The Zone of Interest.

On the acting side, nominations for Leading Actress include Fantasia Barrino for The Color Purple, Sandra Hüller for Anatomy of a Fall, Carey Mulligan for Maestro, Vivian Oparah for Rye Lane, Margot Robbie for Barbie and Emma Stone for Poor Things. While the Leading Actor category features Bradley Cooper for Maestro, Colman Domingo for Rustin, Paul Giamatti for The Holdovers, Barry Keoghan for Saltburn, Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer and Teo Yoo for Past Lives.

The Supporting Actress nominees are Emily Blunt for Oppenheimer, Danielle Brooks for The Color Purple, Claire Foy for All of Us Strangers, Sandra Hüller for The Zone of Interest, Rosamund Pike for Saltburn and Da’Vine Joy Randolph for The Holdovers. Meanwhile, the Supporting Actor category includes Robert De Niro for Killers of the Flower Moon, Robert Downey Jr for Oppenheimer, Jacob Elordi for Saltburn, Ryan Gosling for Barbie, Paul Mescal for All of Us Strangers and Dominic Sessa for The Holdovers.

Other categories include Director, Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Documentary, Animated Film and Original Screenplay. The Bafta Film Awards is considered one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the film industry, celebrating the best in British and international cinema
