While announcing his upcoming tour with Alison Krauss, Plant shared that he hasn’t released or finished his previous works yet. Plant uses a Tascam digital recorder to record his voice, but he finds it challenging to find the right words during these times.
Plant also mentioned that he is not ready to think about retiring yet, and that he’s looking to “keep going.” He is pulling out his old lyric books to find the groove back to create new music. Plant’s upcoming North American tour with Alison Krauss is titled “Can’t Let Go.” Tickets for the tour went on pre-sale on Valentine’s Day and is expected to have more dates added soon.
The tour is slated to kick off on June 2 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and run for about a month with 30 dates. The final stop of the tour will be at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colorado, on September 1. The tour’s general sale will start on Friday, February 16, with prices still unknown.
