London metal band Sleep Token has signed a record deal with RCA. The announcement was made on the band’s Instagram stories which linked to RCA Records’ page. Sleep Token had previously released all of their discography under Finnish heavy metal label Spinefarm, which is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
The band had recently taken down all of their social media posts, and speculations arose that one of the band members’ identities had been leaked, leading to fears that Sleep Token would break up. Their bio now reads “Nothing lasts forever”.
Sleep Token’s album ‘Take Me Back To Eden’ received a five-star rating from NME when it was released in 2023. The NME review called it an “ambitious, emotional monolith of a record with all the hallmarks of future classic status”.
Sleep Token will also go on a huge arena tour in the UK. They recently added extra dates in London and Leeds. The band released the UK tour dates on their Instagram account, and tickets for their shows can be obtained through Ticketmaster’s website.
