Justice share robot sex tape visual for new single ‘Generator’

French electronic duo Justice have unveiled their music video for their latest single, “Generator.” Directed by Léa Ceheivi, the video features two humanoid robots engaging in X-rated activities before shedding their mechanical skin and revealing their humanity. Justice contends that the video explores how modern technology influences sexuality in society today. The duo has previously released two singles from their upcoming album, Hyperdrama, which will be released through Ed Banger Records in April.

In an interview, Ceheivi stated that the aesthetic of the video aims to replicate the uncontrolled, rough vibes of a sex tape, but with a futuristic twist. The robots in the video are capable of experiencing orgasm and refer to the post-coital experience as ‘la petite mort.’ Justice has been working with Ceheivi to bring to life their vision of a modern music video that explores the relationship humans share with technology in a sexual context.

Justice, who are made up of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, recently confirmed the details of their newest album, Hyperdrama. In addition to “Generator,” the duo’s previous release “One Night/All Night” features Tame Impala. The album is expected to drop on April 26th and will be available on all streaming platforms. Physical copies of the album such as CD, double black vinyl, limited edition double crystal clear vinyl and limited edition double picture disc vinyl are also available for pre-order at this time.

The music video for “Generator” is the latest to be released as part of Justice’s upcoming album promotion efforts. So far, the videos have been striking a chord with their fans, and it appears that expectations are quite high for the new album. With the release of Hyperdrama, Justice expects to continue captivating audiences with their thought-provoking and visually stunning electronic music
