BIBI, a famous South Korean singer, has dropped a new single ‘Bam Yang Gang’ along with its music video on Valentine’s Day. This soft and whimsical song is a part of a two-track single album (with the same name) officially released yesterday (February 13) at 6 pm KST. The title of the track ‘Bam Yang Gang’ is named after a popular Korean jelly made from chestnuts and red beans. Jang Ki-ha has composed, written, and arranged the song, making it a notable collaboration between him and BIBI.
In the music video, BIBI can be seen playing with heart-shaped balloons in various romantic locations. The song’s lyrics focus on a soft chorus where BIBI croons about the one thing she has always wanted — Bam Yang Gang. The single album also features a second track titled ‘Sugar Rush,’ the music video for which is set to drop on February 20 at 6 pm KST.
This track is BIBI’s first music of 2021, following her hit collaboration in November last year with Latin pop artist Becky G on the single ‘Amigos,’ which was performed in three languages- Korean, Spanish, and English. K-pop sensation IU has recently dropped the teaser for the music video of her upcoming album ‘The Winning’s single ‘Shopper,’ featuring DPR Ian as its narrator. The song is set to be one of two title tracks, along with ‘Holssi.’ The full video will be available on February 20, along with the full album.
The release of ‘Bam Yang Gang’ brings BIBI back in the news, and the music video’s romantic and playful vibe has indeed won the hearts of many fans. The song’s melody and BIBI’s performance, along with the catchy chorus, make it a perfect Valentine’s Day track for everyone in love
