Country music legend Shania Twain has announced a string of new live shows across the UK and Ireland. The summer tour will include her first-ever headline gig in Wales at the Chepstow Summer Sessions on Friday, July 5. Following the performance, Twain will perform at Belfast’s Ormeau Park on June 27 and Dublin’s Malahide Castle on June 28, then head back to the UK to play Summer Sessions in Stirling City Park on July 2 and a headline slot at the Lytham Festival on Lancashire’s Lytham Green on July 4. All five gigs will feature support act Rag N’ Bone Man, and tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
Twain will be accompanied by Rag N’ Bone Man for all five performances of her Summer Sessions tour and tickets are on sale. Chepstow Summer Sessions in Wales, Stirling City Park in Scotland, and the Lytham Festival in Lancashire will all have Twain headlining. Fans in Ireland will have the opportunity to see Twain and Rag N’ Bone Man performance at Dublin’s Malahide Castle.
The Quebec-born singer-songwriter also recently revealed that she would headline at London’s BST Hyde Park festival in July 2024. Twain will perform alongside support act The Corrs as well as previously announced headliners Robbie Williams, Andrea Bocelli, and Stray Kids.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on the road this summer and playing for the fans in the UK and Ireland who have been so supportive of me throughout my career,” said Shania. “I can’t wait to share my music with my fans and give them a show to remember.”
Twain is the latest to be added to the 2024 Summer Sessions roster, which already features Welsh hit-maker Tom Jones and Irish bluesman Hozier. “Shania’s phenomenal blend of country and pop, along with her spectacular stage presence, has captivated millions worldwide,” said Cuffe and Taylor co-founder Peter Taylor. “Her performance is set to be a standout moment, bringing her chart-topping hits and dynamic energy to our stage.”
