Last night, the trance artist took to social media to explain the circumstances behind his cancellation. “Me and my team have been preparing something truly special for months, but a personal family emergency is forcing me to return home Sunday morning,” he wrote. Despite the setback, he remains appreciative of the NFL collaboration and looks forward to working on something bigger together in the future.
However, Kaskade confirmed overnight that he would be stepping in as a last-minute replacement. Sharing his excitement on social media, the DJ stated that the opportunity to be involved in the event was “absolutely mind-blowing”. “Las Vegas has been my second home for the past decade,” he added, declaring that he was beyond excited to represent his community.
