Singer Taylor Swift has recently confirmed that her upcoming album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, will feature collaborations with Florence + The Machine and Post Malone. The announcement was made during the 2024 Grammy Awards, which Swift attended and went on to nab awards for Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2022 project ‘Midnights’. This upcoming album will be the singer’s first collection of original work since the release of ‘Midnights’. She has since released re-recordings of her best-selling albums from several years ago, including ‘Speak Now’ and ‘1989’.

Swift recently shared the official tracklist of her upcoming album, which will consist of 16 songs. The listing shows Post Malone featuring in the album’s opening track, ‘Fortnight’, and Florence + The Machine appearing in a song called ‘Florida!!!’ midway through the album’s tracklist. Additionally, the album will feature a bonus track called ‘The Manuscript’. This is Swift’s first time working with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine, although both artists have expressed their admiration for the pop icon in the past.

Post Malone previously spoke about an encounter he had with Swift, revealing that she told him, “Better Now is f*cking amazing”. Meanwhile, Florence Welsh recalled an interaction with Swift in 2015 when the pop sensation advised her to “sing about what’s happening in your life”. Swift, in turn, had shared her admiration for Florence in an interview with ‘Billboard’, describing her as “the most magnetic person in the room”.

Swift’s win for Album Of The Year at the recent GRAMMY Awards marked her fourth win in that category, cementing her position as the all-time leader in the field, surpassing the previous record of three wins held by Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra
