Celebrating its second birthday, Mutual Rytm has released its carefully curated 20th release, the vinyl boxset ‘Federation Of Rytm III’. This hefty release includes tracks from the likes of Blawan, ANNE, Gary Beck, Dax J, and LDS. The digital edition includes a further six bonus tracks, totalling 36 cuts, assembled in a “sequenced journey” by founder SHDW to offer a “versatile listening experience”.
Reflecting on his label’s quick success and personal inspirations, SHDW said, “The music on the label authentically reflects my deep musical passions. Working closely with artists from different generations, I am inspired by the unique musical journeys that each of them takes. The unfolding creativity of these artists keeps me motivated and constantly inspired, pushing both myself and the label’s sound to evolve.” He added that the label’s dedication to aesthetics compels him to pursue a distinctive sound defined by “excellent, innovative production, and creative craftsmanship.”
While 2024 marks the first year of SHDW’s solo endeavor, having previously worked under the duo SHDW & Obscure Shape, he describes feeling greater artistic freedom now. He is set to share his first solo productions. On the label side, Mutual Rytm is set to release more music this year, alongside promises of “label nights”.
‘Federation Of Rytm III’ is available now via the Mutual Rytm website for listeners looking to experience SHDW’s musical passions firsthand
