The Øya Festival 2024 has announced its latest wave of acts including RAYE, Arca, Astrid S and Holly Humberstone. Taking place in Oslo, Norway between August 7 and 10 this year, the event is celebrating its 25th anniversary edition. Tickets are available for purchase now. The new artists join previously announced headliners Pulp, PJ Harvey, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Smile and The National.

Norwegian pop singer Gabrielle, Idles, Loyle Carner, Big Thief, The Kills, Nia Archives, Overmono, Yussef Dayes, Alvvays, Blondshell and Yard Act are also on the bill amongst others. Last year’s edition of the festival hosted Blur, Boygenius, Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Sigrid and Devo.

In a four-star review of the 2023 event, NME said: “Øya is a beautiful, intimate, forward-thinking and friendly setting for good times, world firsts, and a taste of tomorrow from one of the music capitals of the world. Øya effortlessly just gets festivals right, every time.” The 2024 headliners, Pulp, last year returned for their first live concerts together since 2012 and headlined several other festivals throughout the year. Meanwhile, Queens Of The Stone Age have also been announced for HellFest Open Air in France this year.

Øya Festival has been billed as “the world’s greenest festival” and has established itself as a leading event in Norway’s calendar since its first edition in 1999. The festival offers various stages to showcase international and national artists, as well as food and drink options and stalls to showcase local retailers
