Mad Cool Festival has unveiled its final set of artists for the 2024 line-up. Among them are The Killers, Måneskin, and Tyla. The music festival will run next year from July 10 to 13, taking place at the Villaverde site in Madrid. Previously announced headliners include Dua Lipa, Pearl Jam, and Bring Me The Horizon, along with other artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Janelle Monáe, Nothing But Thieves, and Tom Odell.
Organisers of the festival have announced several improvements they will make in 2024, including a reduction in the number of stages, from eight to six, and a reduction in public capacity. These changes aim to improve the flow within the festival and reduce schedule conflicts and artist overlaps. More drinking water stations, toilets and bracelet recharge points will also be implemented, with larger screens at each stage.
The final set of artists joining the line-up has been announced. Avril Lavigne and Bring Me The Horizon will join The Killers as headliners on the final night of the four-day event on July 13, following the band’s performance at Reading & Leeds Festival last summer. On the Friday instalment (July 12), Italian rockers Måneskin have been added to the line-up, along with Sum 41, Jessie Ware, Tom Morello, and Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter Rema.
Other new artists include Picture Parlor, who will perform on the final night, Sexyy Red for the opening night, and Nia Archives on Thursday, July 11. The 2024 edition of the festival will cater to electronic music fans, delivering a bigger installation than ever before with a 2MANYDJS DJ set. Tickets for the festival are available now
