Bloober Team has released a trailer for the Silent Hill 2 remake. The video provides a glimpse of what you can expect from the game’s combat. The team claims that the violence will be “improved and modernized,” but it’s unclear exactly what that means beyond the Resident Evil-style fighting seen in the trailer.

There is currently no information on the game beyond who is behind it. Bloober Team is responsible for the development of the title, which will be available exclusively on the PlayStation console. Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, and The Medium are among the studio’s most popular games.

We understand that many players around the world are eagerly anticipating news around the game, and we appreciate your dedication. However, we kindly ask for a bit more patience.”

Konami also unveiled Silent Hill: The Short Message for PlayStation 5 last night in addition to revealing new details for the Silent Hill 2 remake. Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has also announced a new “action espionage” game called ‘Physint,’ which will blur the lines between video games and movies
