A new type of nightclub is set to open in Nashville, Tennessee next month, offering a home for electronic music in the city. Night We Met is the brainchild of the team behind the Nashville-based music festival, Deep Tropics, which focuses on sustainability. The founders of Night We Met aim to foster a “forward-thinking nightlife culture” in one of the US’s fastest-growing cities.
The club will include multiple rooms, each with a state-of-the-art Void Acoustics soundsystem. The founders of Night We Met describe it as “an independent multi-room nightclub centered around dance music.” They hope that the venue will bring an “immersive & elevated nightclub environment” that promises to be unique to Nashville.
The nightclub will showcase national and international DJs, but also will provide opportunities for local artists in Tennessee with the goal of building a new music community in Nashville. Night We Met also plans to curate club nights in collaboration with Nashville-based promoter Full Circle Presents, with a focus on house, techno, and deep house.
As part of its commitment to become the “greenest club in the US,” Night We Met will implement eco-conscious practices, such as using reusable cups and eliminating single-use plastics. Overall, the founders believe that these initiatives and their commitment to providing a unique nightlife experience will help establish Night We Met as a premier dance music destination in the south
