SZA has revealed that a collaboration with Paramore is currently being worked on. In a recent fan Q&A with Apple Music’s TikTok account, the singer confirmed that the collaboration was “in the works” and expressed her excitement about it. Paramore’s lead vocalist, Hayley Williams, had previously expressed her eagerness to collaborate with SZA during a podcast last August. She had said that she was texting SZA “weekly” about working together.
SZA further teased a future alternative-tinged project during the interview by mentioning her favourite song to perform live, which is the pop-punk-influenced cut ‘F2F’ from her album SOS. She clarified that it was now her favourite song and hinted at a future project with a similar sound.
During the Q&A, SZA also discussed her current favourite music, saying that she was “obsessed” with Cleo Sol and praised Teezo Touchdown’s new album. She also confirmed that she has plans to move on from the promotional run behind SOS once it finishes.
SZA’s Apple Music Live set will premiere later today and documents her performances at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in October 2023. The singer has also been announced as a performer at the 66th Grammy Awards, where her album SOS leads among nominees with a total of nine nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
SZA is also set to perform at various festivals this year, including Primavera Sound and Governors Ball
