Mollie Pearce, a participant in the reality show “The Traitors,” has shared what she said to winner Harry Clark after the intense finale. On BBC Breakfast, she revealed that she initially called him a name before they hugged and she congratulated him. The second series of “The Traitors” concluded on January 26, with Clark being crowned the victor.
Clark remained undercover as a Traitor throughout the series while convincing fellow contestants that he was a Faithful. Mollie and Jaz Singh joined him in the finale, with the three having to vote to banish one or more players. Mollie began writing “Harry” on her piece of paper but eventually chose to eliminate Jaz.
Clarke’s prize was £95,150. Other players had been eliminated earlier after also being guessed as Traitors, but Clarke was never revealed. After the final decision was made and Clarke was announced as the winner, Mollie became visibly upset and left the room. Nonetheless, she said that she still had the best experience ever and did not want the result to negate that.
Mollie later revealed that she was convinced that Clarke was a Traitor, but could not bring herself to vote for him. Her friendship with him and her emotional nature made it impossible for her to condemn him without being entirely sure. Uncloaked, another program, also discussed the events and Mollie’s choice to vote for Jaz, but she ultimately stands by her friendship with Clarke.
