British band Keane teamed up with sitar player Anoushka Shankar for a unique rendition of their 2004 hit ‘Everybody’s Changing’. The performance took place during their set at Lollapalooza India on January 28th. Shankar, daughter of legendary sitar player Ravi Shankar, added a new twist to the track. Keane shared their collaboration on Instagram, calling it “the best possible start to 2024”. The band also expressed their hope to play more shows in India in the future.
Keane are set to perform at several festivals in the UK this summer, including Latitude and Kendal Calling. They will also play at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London for this year’s BRITs Week in aid of War Child. Furthermore, Keane will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Hopes And Fears’ by releasing a remastered version of the album on May 10th, 2024. The band will play a show at The O2 Arena in London on that night as part of their world tour.
Keane’s world tour will begin on April 1st with a stop in Mexico City, before moving on to Europe and the UK. They will then play in the US in September with shows at venues including the Greek Theatre in LA, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Ticket sales are ongoing, with the UK tour dates set for May 3rd in Leeds, followed by concerts in Birmingham, Manchester, Bournemouth, Cardiff, and Dublin, and ending on May 13th in London’s The O2 arena. Fans can still purchase tickets for the US dates on Ticketmaster
