Nicki Minaj has announced that her new song ‘Bigfoot’ will soon be released. The rapper gave fans a preview of the tune on Instagram Live where she referenced Megan Thee Stallion’s unfortunate incident where she was shot in the foot. Minaj took a shot at Megan Thee Stallion in her lyrics, but it’s unclear whether the song is a direct diss towards Megan. The song will be available for streaming on January 28 at 6pm ET.
The two are believed to have been beefing for a while leading up to the release of Megan’s new track ‘Hiss.’ The lyrics include a dig at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a convicted sex offender. Nicki then retaliated with a tirade on social media by calling Megan a “flop”.
Despite the lyrics and exchange on social media, Nicki has denied that ‘Bigfoot’ is a direct diss towards Megan The Stallion. The song seems to be the latest development in the brewing feud between the two leading female hip hop stars.
On a separate note, Nicki has also been announced as a performer for Afro Nation Portugal 2024, which will also feature Rema, Asake, J Hus, and Tyla. Fans can purchase tickets for the event on Thursday (January 25th).
