RAYE, the British singer, has revealed a large show will be performed at the O2 Arena in London to celebrate her record-breaking Brit Awards nominations. The gig will take place on March 15 and will be witnessed by 18,000 fans, with The Heritage Orchestra and the Flames Collective joining the singer. In a press release, RAYE described the upcoming concert, stating that they are bringing “My 21st Century Symphony” to the O2 Arena and mentioned the Orchestra and Flames Collective will be her guests from The Royal Albert Hall.
Those who have joined RAYE’s mailing list will get access to presale, while general sale begins on January 30 at 10 am. Earlier this week, RAYE gained a historic seven Brit nominations, surpassing the previous record of six. Among them was best album for My 21st Century Blues, which received a four-star review from NME magazine, with the magazine dubbing the album a “triumphant, hard-fought debut.” The singer took to social media to express her delight, saying that the Brit Awards were very important to her, mentioning that she attended Brit School and it had always been her ultimate goal to make it to the awards night.
Previously, RAYE did announce rescheduled dates that would start later in February, and the performer recently shared her recommendation to budding artists about surviving the industry. RAYE said that artists should surround themselves with good people to prosper in the industry.
