The O2 in London has introduced a new VIP members club, complete with a floating bar and an exclusive viewing platform. Known as The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways, the club also features a 50-seater restaurant and several bars for members only. The space, formerly known as The Residence, holds up to 300 people and offers uninterrupted views of the arena. Members will also have access to over 200 events at The O2, including music, sport and comedy.
Alongside the main bar, members can take advantage of The Golden Circle – a private, floating bar – and Bar 1800, which serves cocktails inspired by memorable moments in the venue’s history. The club’s design includes 50 references to artists and past performances, with engraved setlists and other symbolic touches throughout.
The multi-million pound investment is part of a larger deal between Qatar Airways and The O2. As the Official Airline Partner and frequent flyer programme of the venue, Qatar Airways offers exclusive tickets for events to its Privilege Club members. In a statement, Matt Botten, Senior Director of Premium Seating at The O2 said, “It’s been our biggest investment in premium to date at The O2, and the attention to detail within the space is second to none – it really does reimagine what premium hospitality in a UK arena can offer.”
