A video of Jacob Elordi and the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL) has gone viral after they spoofed rapper Xzibit’s hit MTV series Pimp My Ride. The skit, which was supposed to air during Elordi’s episode, was cut due to time constraints. In the skit, Elordi plays a janitor named Sergei, who works in the SNL writers’ office. His co-workers enlist the help of West Coast Customs to “pimp his ride” after his car breaks down. The skit also includes a cameo from Xzibit himself.
Elordi has had a successful year, starring as Elvis Presley in the Sofia Coppola biopic Priscilla, as well as Felix Catton in the viral Saltburn, directed by Emerald Fennell. Before hosting SNL, Elordi appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he talked about the status of season three of HBO’s hit teen drama series Euphoria.
When asked if shooting will start soon, Elordi jokingly replied, “I hope it’s soon, or they’re going to have to Benjamin Button me or something.” Elordi is quickly becoming Hollywood’s number one actor to watch.
Although the skit didn’t air during the Elordi-hosted episode, it has now gained popularity since it was uploaded to the official SNL channel on YouTube. The video has quickly gone viral on social media, with fans sharing their delight in the skit’s humorous take on the beloved MTV series.
All in all, the skit proved that Elordi has a natural talent for comedy and his future in Hollywood looks brighter than ever
