A 16-year-old girl named Julia Skala has been reported missing for over a week, according to the Met Police. Julia is said to have left her home in Mitcham, south-west London at around 1 pm on January 8th. Her family called police the following morning, after which an investigation was launched. Officers have viewed CCTV footage from the area as part of their extensive enquiries. Julia was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket with black trousers, white Nike trainers, and carrying a black Nike rucksack. The public is asked to come forward with any information.
Despite their attempts to locate Julia, there is still no indication of her whereabouts. However, police do not believe the teen has come to harm. Supt Josh Laughton of the local policing team in south-west London said that officers across the city are using a variety of tactics to find the missing girl and that it is likely she has traveled by public transport. Julia has links to Lambeth, Camden, and Islington.
According to Julia’s family, it is unusual for her to be away from home for such an extended period. As a result, authorities remain concerned for her safety and wellbeing. Supt Laughton has asked anyone who has seen Julia over the past week to come forward with any information that may help in their search. If you have any information, please call the police immediately.
