Enter Shikari team up with Fever 333’s Jason Butler for new single ‘Losing My Grip’

Enter Shikari and Fever 333’s frontman, Jason Butler, have released a new single titled ‘Losing My Grip’. The track was released on January 16 but marks Enter Shikari’s first release in 2022. The single was created ahead of their upcoming UK tour and Fever-333 will also perform at the events.

Rou Reynolds, Enter Shikari’s lead singer, expressed his excitement about working with Butler. “We’ve known Jason for years now and have toured much of the world together. I think we always thought that it’d be great to collaborate on something when the right opportunity surfaced,” he said. “This track certainly felt right. It required a thoughtful intensity, which Jason provides effortlessly in whatever he sets his mind to. We can’t wait to take Fever 333 out on our UK and Europe tour, it’s been too long since we shared a stage together.

‘Losing My Grip’ combines influences from two of their favourite music genres; drum and bass and hardcore punk. Rou also stated that the lyrics aim to address the immense power humans wield and the impact of the pressure on individuals.

This upcoming tour will also support the Music Venue Trust, an organisation that supports grassroots venues in each city band will be touring through. They will donate £1 from each ticket sale to support local venues that continue to support Enter Shikari throughout their career. Their tour will begin on February 9 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds
