UK rapper Songer has announced his biggest tour of Britain to date, starting on April 2 in Glasgow and running through to Bristol, Manchester, and Birmingham before ending in London on April 13. All dates of the tour will feature support from London’s KiLLOWEN. Tickets for the performances are available from Ticketmaster.
In 2021, Songer released his third studio album, Skala, and his newest single, Toxic, recently earned him his first-ever UK Singles Chart entry, debuting at number 39 on January 12th.
In a conversation with NME in March 2021, Songer spoke about his responsibility to call out discrimination and inequality as a white rapper in a Black genre. “It’s important to speak about those topics because if you wanna speak about the world, you can’t ignore one of the biggest parts of the world, and that is societal injustices. If you want to be a writer and a voice, you want to be on the right side of history,” he said.
Don’t miss out on the chance to catch Songer live on his upcoming tour. Full details of show dates and locations can be found via Songer’s website or Ticketmaster
