Mike McCartney, the younger brother of Paul McCartney, has shared an update on his health after he spent his 80th birthday in a hospital. On Twitter, Mike shared a photo of himself at the age of 22, saying that he hasn’t changed at all and that he spent his 80th birthday in the local hospital. A week later, Mike shared more details with his followers, sharing that the NHS nurses, doctors, and staff were magnificent, as always, and he was so grateful for their help.

In other news, it was revealed that the late Annie Nightingale was the first person to interview Paul McCartney after John Lennon’s death. During the program, Nightingale said they were trying to be professional and reflect how people were feeling while not getting emotional on-air. Suddenly, a producer appeared in the studio and told her that someone was on the phone for her. It was McCartney calling to speak to her.
Mike McCartney’s birthday celebration is a reminder of the importance of healthcare and its professionals around the world. As Mike shared his gratitude to the NHS staff, we can appreciate the sacrifices and hard work of medical professionals around the world, who often work tirelessly without recognition
