Brian Cox has stated that he would be willing to reprise his role as Logan Roy if a potential Succession movie had a “good enough” script. HBO’s hit show finished airing after four seasons but Cox has raised the possibility of returning for a future prequel. Although Cox’s character was killed off in the last season, the option for a prequel remains a possibility.

The actor revealed in an interview with Variety that, “If it’s good enough and Jesse Armstrong [Succession creator] wants to do it, I might do it.” However, Cox also stated that he believes Armstrong concluded the show at the right time, and that audiences are still yearning for the series.

In addition, Cox was unsure about a potential spin-off for Nicholas Braun’s character Cousin Greg, which Kieran Culkin suggested. “I don’t think Nick Braun would want to do it either,” said Cox. “He’s going onto other things, which are really exciting for him.”

At the Critics’ Choice Awards, Succession took home three awards, including Best Drama Series. Last week, the show won several awards at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony. The show is also expected to perform well at the forthcoming Emmy Awards, where it has been nominated in numerous categories.

Viewers have shown plenty of enthusiasm for Succession, and its conclusion has left them eager for more. However, Cox’s comments suggest that he is willing to return only if the quality of the screenplay is up to the standard set by the series’s previous seasons
