Yesterday marked the first anniversary of Lisa Marie Presley’s death. The daughter of music legend Elvis Presley passed away last year at the age of 54. Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s mother, took to Twitter to pay her respects to her daughter. In her heartfelt message, Priscilla wrote that Lisa is in the arms of her beloved father now and that the thought brings her some comfort. She also said that Lisa is missed every day, and the family still thinks of her even a year after her passing.
Lisa Marie Presley was born in 1968 as the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. When Elvis passed away, Lisa Marie was the sole heir to the Graceland estate. Before she passed away, Lisa had asked her daughter, Riley Keough, to help her complete the work. The memoir will cover Lisa Marie’s life, including her relationship with her father, her childhood at Graceland, and her romantic relationships with Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage. The print version of the memoir will be accompanied by an audiobook version that will include segments of Lisa Marie’s voice recordings, read by her daughter, Riley.
