Dua Lipa attends Chelsea football match for her new movie ‘Argylle’

British singer Dua Lipa was seen at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s Premier League game with Fulham as part of the promotional campaign for her new movie, Argylle. The upcoming spy thriller stars Lipa, alongside Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard. The singer’s appearance at the match was well-documented, with fans sharing pictures of Lipa during the game on social media.

While Lipa was promoting Argylle, a group of actors who sat behind the Chelsea dugout took part in a series of bizarre stunts to promote the movie. Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was also seen sporting an Argylle patch on the shoulder of his coat. The new spy thriller centres on spy fiction novelist Elly Conway, who spends most of her nights at home with her cat, Alfie.

Argylle’s ensemble cast includes John Cena, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Sofia Boutella, and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie will be released in cinemas worldwide by Universal on February 2, 2024, before streaming on Apple TV+ at a later date. Lipa made her full acting debut in Argylle, but she previously made a cameo in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie.

Elsewhere, Lipa is on the 2024 Academy Awards shortlist for Best Original Song for ‘Dance The Night,’ which features in Barbie. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo have also made the shortlist
