The annual charity ‘DJ Battle’ is set to take place in Liverpool next month, with a host of famous names joining Liverpool Mayor Steve Rotheram and Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham on the decks. The event, which first took place online during the pandemic, raised over £25,000 at an in-person event last year in Manchester and won ‘Leading Live Event of the Year’ award at the 2023 This is Manchester Awards. Tickets are available to purchase, with people encouraged to follow the Mayors and charities’ social media accounts for updates.
Confirmed acts for this year’s event include Rebecca Ferguson, Heather Small, John Barnes, and Peter Hooton for the Liverpool side, with former actress Sally Lindsay, BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Nihal Arthanayake, and M-People’s Heather Small for Greater Manchester.
