Electronic music duo KRANKk has joined forces with the Ragga Twins to release their latest single, “Think”. The song is a fusion of genres such as jungle, drum ‘n’ bass, and liquid, while its lyrics delve into the theme of societal corruption and urge introspection on our impact on the world.
KRANKk’s Thomas speaks about a fortuitous chain of events that led to the creation of the track. Initially, their studio session fell through, and they made the impromptu decision to attend WAH in the City Festival, where they were treated to the Ragga Twins’ performance.
Their energy was infectious, and the duo reached out to them, and the result was a studio session that birthed “Think,” changing their music trajectory in unexpected ways. The song is slated for release on January 12, as part of their forthcoming album, “Late Nights in Antwerp.” The second album from the duo is expected to come out in spring.
The duo encourages their fans to pre-order “Think” with Ragga Twins, NOVA, and “Into My Home.” KRANKk’s Aram adds that the initial encounter with the Ragga Twins had an instant impact, altering their musical direction from that point forward. The song’s introspective lyrics are a relevant take on the world’s current state, begging the question of our impact on it.
