John Blair thanked volunteers, police, and local communities for their efforts in trying to find Whiteside, and reiterated police calls for anyone with any information to contact the police. Police Inspector Patton thanked both volunteers and local search and rescue teams, including Lough Neagh Rescue, for their continuing efforts and requested that residential and commercial property owners check their premises, yards, sheds, and store rooms to assist in the search. The police have issued several appeals for information since Whiteside’s disappearance, and locals are now very worried about him.

Members of the public are now urged to come forward with any information they might have that could help the ongoing search effort
