Royals attend Christmas Day service at Sandringham

On Christmas Day, King Charles III, accompanied by Queen Camilla, attended a church service in Sandringham, along with other members of the royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, were also seen arriving at St Mary Magdalene Church for the service.

The attendants also included Prince Andrew, who was accompanied by his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, for the first time in many years. Fans from various parts of the world, including the United States, lined the route to the church in hopes of catching a glimpse of the royals.

The Duchess of York’s attendance was the main highlight of the day. She had not joined the family on the walk to the Christmas morning church service in over 30 years. The duchess was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and was invited back into the heart of the Royal Family after receiving treatment.

The King and Queen led their family on the short walk from Sandringham House to Mary Magdalene Church, with many younger royals joining in. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s two teenage children, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, made an appearance. Zara and Mike Tindall also brought two of their children along, with nine-year-old Mia Tindall taking charge of her cousin Prince Louis, holding his hand as they walked into church.
