Indira Paganotto has just released a new EP titled ‘Heaven Is For Warriors’ on her record label, ARTCORE. The two-tracker EP is guaranteed to be familiar to techno fans who’ve experienced her electrifying performances at Awakenings, Circoloco, EXIT Festival and fabric among other clubs and parties. As expected, the EP captures the sound that the Spanish producer and DJ has come to be renowned for over the past year. The EP features two extensive psytrance-meets-techno cuts, designed especially for club sound systems. The EP opener, ‘Heaven Is For Warriors,’ grabs listeners with a raw, gritty cut featuring thumping grooves of drums and a crisp percussive drive. On the other hand, ‘Requiem’ has an atmospheric opening that gives way to clustered techno packed with synths, sirens, and pads.
Paganotto told Mixmag that she’s proud of ARTCORE and the community it has centered around. “To see the label grow, develop and provide as a platform to so many artists- and I don’t just mean music; we have a painter working with us, designers, photographers and videographers, writers, plus of course producers and DJs – is truly remarkable,” she said. The EP is already available via ARTCORE, and you can check it out here.
