Woman who died in A83 crash near Tarbert named by police

Police have named the woman who died in a traffic accident on Friday in Argyll. Amanda McAulay, age 27, crashed her blue Peugeot 107 with a white Vauxhall Mokka on the A83 near Tarbert. Emergency services were called but McAulay died at the scene. The three Mokka occupants, on the other hand, were taken to a hospital in Glasgow. They are currently in serious but stable condition, according to the hospital staff.

Police officers are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident. The road was closed for nine hours to provide officials with ease of access into the incident.

Sgt Sean Dempsey has requested more information and dash-cam footage in addition to statements from multiple people who stopped at the scene to assist just after the crash. Scotland Police’s non-emergency line has been open to accept any necessary information.
