Eli Escobar, a DJ and producer from New York, is opening a new nightclub in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Gabriela, which is scheduled to open on December 15th, replaces the former Kinfolk 90 nightclub. The venue is going to be open on Friday through Sunday from 10 PM to 4 AM, with Eli Escobar playing all night long the night of the opening. On the second night, Luke Solomon is set to perform a six-hour set.
According to Resident Advisor, the DJ named the club after his deceased friend, whom he had discussed opening a nightclub with. The club is considered an intimate venue that Eli Escobar always dreamed of opening with like-minded friends who share his love of music and nightlife.
Eli Escobar explained to Mixmag, “I always dreamed of opening my own little club and specifically doing it with like-minded friends who share my love of music and nightlife.” He continued, “And now here we are!”
Although this is not the first nightclub in the area, the opening of Gabriela will provide party-goers with a new intimate venue to check out
