Scarlett O’Malley lands on Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory with bumping new EP

West London-born Scarlett O’Malley has dropped her latest EP, ‘The House Joints’, via Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory label. O’Malley has become a renowned name within the dance music scene, and this four-track EP features her signature groovy, dancefloor-focused sound. Listeners will be treated to classic organ hook lines, catchy vocals, bouncy synth beats, and choppy breaks, all wrapped up in a classic house sound.

The name of the album refers to the creative process that inspired it, which took place in O’Malley’s garden. While she has since quit smoking weed, the EP remains a tribute to the inspiration that the drug provided. The production reflects all the different sounds of her club experience in London, from house to breakbeat, groovy to percussive. At its core, ‘The House Joints’ is all about showcasing great dance music.

Earlier this year, O’Malley released her first EP, ‘Scorpio Rodeo’, on her own label, Club Cowgirl. With this latest release, she proves that she is still committed to creating some of the most significant and innovative dance music around. ‘The House Joints’ is now available via Kaoz Theory – check it out here!

For O’Malley, releasing her music on Chandler’s label really is a dream come true. She has long admired him and even said in a recent interview with Fred Perry that in a dream world, she would love to perform back to back with him. When Kaoz Theory reached out to her, she was thrilled to have the chance to work with such an important artist.

Niamh Ingram, the weekend editor at Mixmag, has praised the new EP and its infectious sound. As O’Malley continues to cement her place in the world of dance music, fans eagerly await her future releases
