Sarah Story, a DJ, broadcaster, and songwriter, has released her new EP called ‘Another’ through Hypercolour Records. The EP, which consists of two tracks, presents a key-led breakdown masterpiece in the opening track, ‘Another’, where techno and house sounds are brought together. ‘Too Shy’, the second track, showcases Story’s singing talent, making it a euphoric, rave-inspired tune. The added melodic components and pounding kick drum significantly contribute to its party vibes.
According to Story, “I’m so excited to finally release this EP. I’ve been testing out ‘Another’ in sets like my Boiler Room and the reaction has been great! I finally feel like I’ve found my sound, with both tracks including my vocals. It’s an honour to be releasing on the much loved Hypercolour Records.” Both tracks, mainly ‘Another’, have been well-received in her recent DJ performances, including Club Ost in Berlin, fabric in London, and Pikes and Hï in Ibiza.
Story expressed that the whole process of the release was a “labour of love”. With more solo production work and other projects planned for next year, the BBC Radio 1 Future Dance host looks forward to it. The EP can now be streamed and downloaded worldwide.
