Electronic music duo 100 gecs has released a remix of Basement Jaxx’s classic song “Where’s Your Head At” entitled “Where’s My Head At?”. Fans of the sought-after release can purchase it now on the XL Recordings label. The long-awaited remix will also be available in a limited run of 12″ vinyl that’s etched, with only 500 available for purchase.

100 gecs’ remix puts a fresh spin on the song, complete with new sounds and textures while also retaining key elements of the original. The duo is not the first to take on the song, with remixes by artists like Crookers and Baskerville having come out over the years.

Having made a name for themselves with their signature genre-bending sounds, 100 gecs is known for remixing various tracks for other artists. They have remixed a diverse array of musicians, from punk rocker Laura Jane Grace to pop superstar Dua Lipa.

Basement Jaxx helped shape the UK electronic music scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s before going on hiatus in 2019. There is no word yet on if this remix will lead to new music from the duo, but fans are eagerly anticipating any announcements
