An organisation based at Manchester Metropolitan University, the MANDRAKE Lab, has warned people in Manchester about a batch of neon-green pills stamped with “ToR” that supposedly contain two and a half times the common oral dose of MDMA. Crew, a Scottish drugs safety organisation, states that a light dose ranges from 45-75 milligrams MDMA per tablet, while a common dose is between 75-140 milligrams of MDMA per tablet.
According to the MANDRAKE organisation, its specialisation is in the chemical analysis of drugs circulating in the Northwestern city. MANDRAKE discovered the world’s strongest MDMA pill on record two years ago, the “Blue Punisher”, which contained 477mg of pure MDMA. Even half of this pill would be regarded as risky. A list of drug safety measures was provided by the University of Manchester’s student news team, which included the use of free and anonymous drug testing kits, looking out for MANDRAKE’s drug warnings and the use of Eclypse, a free and confidential service for drug users aged 25 and under in Manchester.
