Boudica, a multidisciplinary platform dedicated to spotlighting and encouraging more Trans+, female, and non-binary people in the music industry, has announced the return of its music conference. The event will take place at FOLD in London on November 25. The conference is set to span the entire day and night and will aim to exchange knowledge in a safer, more accessible environment.
The day will consist of a variety of panels hosted by industry professionals. These include Planningtorock, Black Artist Database, Southbank Centre, Pxssy Palace, and more. Attendees will also have the chance to book a half-hour slot for one-to-one mentorship with four industry professionals in a safe and private environment. In addition, there will be two beginner DJ workshops hosted by IMOGEN and Swan Meat in collaboration with Pioneer DJ’s Start From Scratch initiative.
As the evening draws in, the day will be followed by shows featuring Blasha & Allatt, LYDO, Samantha Togni, and Swan Meat. Day tickets and night tickets are available, and free admission to Boudica Music Conference 2023 will be provided for students and individuals who are unemployed or on low-income wages.
Boudica strives to encourage diversity within the music industry. With the help of its platform and conference, it aims to create a sustainable environment for underrepresented voices in music.
