Sónar Lisboa announces first line-up announcement for 2024 edition

Sónar Lisboa will be celebrating its third edition at the Parque Eduardo VII, from March 22-24, 2024. The festival will have two parts: Sónar by Day, featuring indoor and outdoor stages, and Sónar by Night, all indoors with non-stop music all night. The day festivities will fall on 23 and 24 March, while Sónar by Night will happen on March 22 and 23.

This year, Sónar Lisboa will feature artists who blur the lines between club music and pop, such as Sevdaliza, Eliza Rose, and Shygirl, bringing her new concept show ‘ClubShy’. Also joining the lineup are 2manydjs, who return after a rousing performance at Sónar Lisboa 2023, Bonobo, CC:DISCO!, DJ Gigola, Grove, and Florentino. Other performers include Hudson Mohwake, Oneohtrix Point Never, Wata Igarashi, and Tiga’s collaborative project Love Minus Zero. There will also be a spotlight on local talent, with local artists like Chima Isaaro, XEXA, Moullinex + GPU Panic, and Supa b2b Ghetthoven.

Sónar has organised over 100 festivals in 35 cities across the world, with next year’s events planned in Barcelona, where the festival was founded, and Istanbul.

Tickets for Sónar Lisboa 2024 are now available on the festival’s website.

Tibor Heskett, Mixmag’s Digital Intern, reports that Sónar by Night in 2024 will feature an epic affair with 2manydjs performing alongside Glasgow’s Éclair Fifi and London’s Erol Alkan.
