Police in South Yorkshire have arrested three people on suspicion of the murder of a man in his 50s, whose body was found near a working men’s club in Balby, Doncaster. Officers were called to Victoria Road at 01:00 GMT on Sunday following reports of the injured man, who died at the scene. Two men, aged 39 and 47, and a woman, 33, have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder. South Yorkshire Police have asked anyone with information to come forward.
The man was found outside the Park Social Working Men’s Club with head injuries. The police arrived at the scene to investigate and pronounced him dead upon arrival. Officers arrested three individuals on suspicion of murder, a woman and two men, who are all in police custody at present. While the police have not released the identity of the man yet, they have urged anyone with information to come forward with leads.
South Yorkshire Police’s detective chief inspector, Jamie Henderson said, “we are in the early stages of our enquiries and I’d like to appeal to anyone who may hold information about what happened to please come forward.
